About Me

Welcome to my website!

I am a conference interpreter, translator, and reviewer based in the United States and Norway. I help my Korean- and English-speaking clients build meaningful relationships with each other by serving as a linguistic bridge and cultural liaison.

I started working in translation and interpretation in 2017, my final year at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

In 2021, I obtained a master's degree in Conference Interpretation at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.

My teachers and clients describe me as a proactive communicator, a thorough and efficient preparer, and a reliable partner.

In fact, I strive to become better at what I do—to not only convert the literal meaning but also deliver the intent and impact of the client's message.

I have experience in, and am open to, a wide range of projects. No project is too small, too long, or too simple. Whether it is on-site interpreting of a large multilingual conference or translating a three-word slogan, I am happy to work with you.

As a member of the American Translators Association and the MIIS alumni network, I would also be happy to refer you to my colleagues if you need help with other language pairs.
